This series was never broadcasted on Greek TV. The Greek dub of Dragon Ball GT started getting a DVD release on Decemby DeAgostini Hellas. Stelios Kalathas ( King Kai, Grand Kai).The redub of this episode was shown in the rebroadcasts of Dragon Ball Z on Smile TV. In the Greek DVD release of Dragon Ball Z by DeAgostini Hellas, episode 197 had been redubbed for unknown reasons. Yiorgos Hadjigeorgiou (guest VA in eps.Renata Kalderari (Kid Trunks & Dende since ep.Maria Plakidi (Krillin, Zarbon and others).Matina Karra (Bulma, Frieza, Videl, Goten and others).Stelios Kalathas (Adult Gohan & Babidi till ep.Yiannis Papaioannou ( Vegeta, Master Roshi, Garlic Jr., Narrator eps.Later, they started re-airing the first 35 episodes with footage from Funimation's Remastered Box Sets as well. Smile TV's footage comes from Funimation's Remastered Box Sets and their audio from DeAgostini's DVDs with the exception of the first 35 episodes (their footage was from ANT1's VHS tapes). The series returned on TV in Greece and Cyprus on Apon Smile TV. Apart from the original Japanese version, the Greek dub of DBZ was based on other dubbed versions such as the Latin American (Cell Saga) and the French (episodes 188-291). On DecemDeAgostini Hellas started releasing all the episodes of Dragon Ball Z on DVD. The series started getting released on VHS on Maby DeAgostini Hellas but only the first 100 episodes were released. The Greek dub of Dragon Ball Z started airing on ANT1 on Februand ended on March 30, 2003. The reason why episode 77 was redubbed is unknown. The reason why the scene from episode 33 was redubbed was due to the fact that in the original ANT1 broadcast they used as a background music for that scene the Greek version of Makafushigi Adventure so they redubbed it and they used the original Japanese version of Makafushigi Adventure instead. In the redubbed scene of episode 33 Stelios Kalathas is voicing Master Roshi while in the redub of episode 77 Stelios Kalathas is Shu, Krillin and the narrator, Maria Zisi is Kid Goku, Mai and Puar, Emi Stilianidou is Bulma, Fortuneteller Baba and Upa, Panagiotis Tsitsas is Pilaf and an unknown/unidentified voice actor is Grandpa Gohan, Yamcha and Master Roshi. In the Greek DVD release by DeAgostini Hellas, a scene from episode 33 and the whole episode 77 had been redubbed with new voice actors. Unknown guest VA (female) in episode 81.Yiannis Papaioannou ( Mercenary Tao eps.Manos Venieris ( Master Roshi, Yamcha, Narrator and others).They have also added the insert songs that were missing. Smile TV's footage comes from the Japanese Dragon Boxes and their audio from DeAgostini's DVDs. The Greek dub is airing again in Cyprus since January 2019 (or late 2018) on Smile TV Cyprus.
